Notes: using files from previous versions in LISE++ v.12

How to apply v.12 settings to a file from a previous version of LISE++ Load your previous version file in v.12, then load new options "A1900_2019.lopt" using the dialog from "File" --> "Options" --> "Load" menu
How to run a previous LISE++ version, even though LISE++ v.12 is already installed on your computer Download the so-called "open version" zip-package using the link http://lise.nscl.msu.edu/download/other/previous_versions/ . Open the compressed file in a designated directory, and run LISE++directly from there
Important block modifications
  • Material (target, stripper, wedge) blocks do not have "Slits" properties anymore!
  • Previous files containing an RF-kicker block should be revised in v.12
What are the main differences in options between versions 10 and 12 regarding yield calculations?
