LISE++ for Linux (with Qt 5.15.x, release 16.3.11 and before)
- Tested on Debian Buster (10), other Linux OS distributions released later than
  Ubuntu Xenial (16.04) should work as well
- Run with self-extractable script:
  - Download lise-<version>.run file, chmod +x lise-<version>.run if it is not runnable
  - Double clicking the .run file and choose 'Run in Terminal', or:
    - Type './lise_<version>.run' in the directory where the file is
    - Get into the new created folder 'lise-app' and type './run_lise.sh' to start
- Run with Debian package (for Debian, Ubuntu, etc.)
  - Install lise-app_<version-string>.deb by 'dpkg -i' or by double-clicking on
    Ubuntu (Debian may needs extra packages)
  - Menu entry named LISE++ should appear in your system menu, or type 'lise++'
    in the Terminal to start LISE++
- In FRIB Office Network
  - On machine 'flagtail': run lise-app in terminal
  - Virtualbox (develop-vmphy0-v7):
    - sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install lise-app

LISE++ for Linux (with Qt 6.x, release 16.16.25 and after)
- Should work with Linux OS distributions released later than Ubuntu Focal (20.04), e.g.
  - Linux Mint 21, Debian Bullseye (11), Debian Bookworm (12), etc.
- See the above notes for how to work with .run and .deb files.
- In FRIB Office Network:
  - Does not work with Debian Buster (10) anymore, as of now they ('flagtail') are running Debian 10.
  - Virtualbox (develop-vmphy0-v11 and v12):
    - sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install lise-app
- If the lise-app debian package is installed, command tools are available for:
  - lise++: LISEcute
  - global: Global
  - charge: Charge
  - pace4: PACE4
  - gemini: Gemini
  - kantelehandbook: KanteleHandbook
  - etacha4: ETACHA4
